Software Developer

Location: Remote

Ladd Partners is a full service Certinia, Rootstock and Salesforce consultancy. We are looking for an intelligent and energetic Software Developer to take a role on our growing team. This is a full-time employment position working as a remote billable consultant at Ladd Partners.

The Software Developer reports to the Director of Software Development. They understand both Salesforce and Certinia products, features, and best practices. They work directly with internal consultants and other more senior developers to analyze requirements and recommend solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast paced environment across multiple projects to deliver the best solution to our clients.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Write, test, and troubleshoot Salesforce solutions using both code and declarative methods
• Assist in the definition and documentation of a client’s requirements
• Understand technical specifications, identify potential issues and suggest alternate solutions
• Deliver solutions on-time and within budget
• Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced, deadline driven environmen
• Assists the practice organization in efforts to improve methodology and develop custom package offerings at the direction of more senior team members
• Follow internal processes and best practices

Experience required:

• 2-5+ years development experience
• 1-3+ years relevant experience and knowledge of process, applications, and solutions pertaining to a Certinia product set
• Proficient and skilled in Salesforce development technologies, specifically Apex, Javascript/jQuery, and related technologies.
• Proficiency in at least one Certinia product from a development perspective
• Experienced in methodologies and best practices relevant to a Certinia product
• Salesforce platform certification or equivalent skill set
• Understanding of cloud technologies
• Understanding of complex information systems
