ERP Solution Architect

Location: Remote

Ladd Partners is a full service Certinia and Salesforce consultancy. We are looking for an experienced, intelligent and energetic ERP Solution Architect to take a leading role on our growing team. This is a full-time employment position working as a remote billable consultant at Ladd Partners.

The ERP Solution Architect is a senior position that reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer. The Solution Architect understands the strengths and limitations of both the Salesforce platform and Certinia ERP applications, utilizing this knowledge to design integrated solutions for our clients. A successful candidate will combine proven business experience with a strong technical acumen that enables them to quickly become our clients trusted advisor, and design systems to meet their unique needs.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Taking a leadership role in gathering client requirements from multiple senior stakeholders and functions across the clients business
• Ability to conceptualize and communicate solutions to complex business problems
• Ability to develop rapport with senior stakeholders and quickly become the clients trusted advisor
• Documenting requirements and designing detailed solutions using the Salesforce platform and Certinia ERP Applications
• Ability to drive consensus within the project team around a proposed solution
• Knowledge of, and ability to recommend system and business best practices
• Creation of detailed technical specifications that will be used as the basis for system customizations
• Ability to adapt designs to changing requirements, and advise implementation team when issues arise
• Adopting and continually working to improve Ladd Partners’ standard delivery methodology
• Leading and mentoring more junior personnel on the team
• Taking ownership of overall project success
• Most work is performed virtually. Limited travel to client sites may be required

Experience required:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience using ERP Applications (Certinia, SAP, Oracle, Netsuite etc.)
• Minimum 5+ years of Certinia specific ERP experience, with the ability to implement multiple Certinia modules (Certinia certifications are a strong plus)
• Salesforce platform experience (SalesCloud, Order Management, CPQ, FSL certifications are a strong plus)
• Extensive functional business experience: Accounting, Inventory Management, Budgeting, Procurement etc.
• Comprehensive oral and written communication skills
• Demonstrated analytical approach to problem solving
• Excellent time management skills with a demonstrated ability to multitask, balancing responsibilities and resources across competing projects
• Strong focus on process improvement and business transformation
• Ability to provide specific recommendations with justification, aggressively identify and address risks, set expectations and follow through
• Ability to write all-encompassing test scripts for complicated customizations across modules. Direct other testers
• Ability to resolve issues and understand complex interactions between features and across multiple internal and external stakeholders
• Passion for achieving customer success
• Familiarity with LucidChart, Google Workspace, Atlassian JIRA, Slack
