Associate Project Manager

Location: Remote

Ladd Partners is a full service Certinia and Salesforce consultancy. We are looking for an intelligent and energetic Associate Project Manager to take a role on our growing team. This is a full-time employment position working as a remote billable consultant at Ladd Partners.

The Associate Project Manager reports to the Manager of the PMO. The Associate Project Manager is responsible for leading small to medium sized projects at Ladd Partners, delivering successful implementations for our clients. The successful candidate will combine a strong attention to detail, with exceptional organizational skills and a willingness to learn and adapt in a changing environment.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Manages up to 2-3 concurrent implementation projects (in addition to post implementation projects) for small to medium-sized organizations with basic to average complexity of requirements.
• Assembles and coordinates resources of the project team according to the signed Statement Of Work (SOW)
• Ensures that all project team members have adequately prepared for the engagement, including attending the Sales to Services Handoff meeting and reading the SOW and detailed estimate
• Proactively manages project scope and budget, ensuring that change orders are fully executed prior to budget exhaustion or working on newly added work
• Develops project plans to ensure projects are actively tracked and tasks allocated to team members in line with agreed milestone dates and budget Works with development team to coordinate custom development efforts as required
• Working with other team members and mentors, identifies and manages project risks, including developing mitigation plans and strategies to alleviate identified risks
• Tracks project status and milestones using PSA, and communicates status to necessary stakeholders via status meetings and status reports
• Sets, resets, and actively manages customer expectations
• Builds excellent relationships with customers and other team members, clarifies roles and responsibilities, deliverables, timelines, assignments, and reports

Experience required:

• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience and developing knowledge of project management fundamentals pertaining to Certinia (or similar) product set
• Strong organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
• Developing experience in software implementations
• Working understanding of SaaS and Cloud technologies
• Experienced in methodologies and best practices relevant to Certinia (or similar) products
• Knowledge of the Salesforce platform. Certinia and/or Salesforce certifications are a strong plus
• Strong desire and ability to learn and grow in role
